Intuitive Development

I was first introduced to Jo from Woke Studio through one of my favorite podcasts. She first went on the pod to discuss the Akashic records and her work within that space. I’d heard the word Akashic before but I had not taken the time to learn about the details behind it. The Akashic records are a collection of wisdom stored in the ether and have existed since the beginning of time. Jo is able to access your specific records and give insights on past lives and how past karma may affect your current life.

I booked a session with her right away and I was incredibly impressed with the experience. She incorporated numerology alongside the Akashic reading. I learned so much about myself, through numerology she explained my life path and my soul’s purpose. I loved Jo’s attitude on my development, she made everything feel easy and attainable. When I asked her about “blocks” she gave me her perspective on that idea, that blocks are not really a problem because it is all energy and it can easily be cleared or redirected, it’s all about your intention and determination.

Jo offers an intuitive development course. I had considered signing up for mediumship or psychic development courses but I hadn’t met anyone that seemed like the right fit for me. I mean, I hadn’t actually met many people this past year period, so finding a teacher felt like it might be an impossible task. Jo’s easy going and encouraging attitude really stood out to me so I decided to take the leap and sign up for her coaching.

Initially, I had picked the beginner level as I wasn’t sure of exactly how much I knew versus what she had to teach me. It would be a 4 week course in which we met once a week. After our first meeting we decided to continue on quickly, skipping through most of the beginner work as it turned out I already knew most of it. She assigned me a deep dive of shadow work prompts around mindset and finances, which I found incredibly useful. I believe shadow work is an ongoing development that everyone should do throughout their lives, the questions she provided were thought provoking and helped me work through several areas of my life that I hadn’t fully addressed. You can read my intro to shadow work here.

Over the next few weeks Jo taught me how to ground my energy, how to protect my energy, how to channel, how to open the akashic records, and we even got into mediumship (I have a lot of practice to do!). With her guidance, I was able to channel this message. The course ended up being a combination of beginner and advanced. I was a little sad that our weekly meetings had come to an end, because every week had felt like I had a chat with an old friend. Overall, working with her was a great investment and I’m so grateful to have found her.
